Modular Mattresses For All Sleeping Styles

Every mattress we make is built around a modular layer system, meaning the firmness you sleep on is something you choose, and something you can change. We've been handmaking natural mattresses in Delta, BC since 1985, and adaptive layering has always been at the core of how we build.

There are two ways to sleep on latex, and we build both from the ground up: all latex through and through, or latex paired with a pocket coil base beneath it. The 100% latex mattresses are built entirely from latex, using Dunlop, Talalay, or a combination of both depending on the configuration. The layers work together to create the buoyant, responsive feel that latex is known for: a firm base that supports the whole body, with the comfort layer doing the fine-tuning at the surface.

The
hybrid mattresses take a different approach. A 7-inch calibre edge pocket coil base replaces the latex foundation, giving the mattress a more traditional feel and stronger edge support. The latex comfort layer on top brings the pressure relief and natural materials. It's a good fit for people who want the benefits of latex but prefer the familiar responsiveness of a coil-based mattress.

Both lines include a 180-day layer exchange on most configurations, so if the firmness isn't right after sleeping on it, we can swap the comfort layer for something that works better.

What are your mattresses made from?

Sleep Majestic mattresses are built from latex in our own factory. Depending on the configuration, that means Dunlop, Talalay, or a combination of both. Some configurations also include a pocket coil base
beneath the latex layers. None of our latex mattresses contains polyurethane foam. If you want to understand exactly what's in a specific model, the product pages break down every layer.

What is the difference between the 100% latex and hybrid latex mattresses?

The 100% latex mattresses are built entirely from latex, layered in configurations from 6 to 10 inches. They have a buoyant, responsive feel with no coil system. The hybrid mattresses use a 7-inch calibre edge pocket coil base with a latex comfort layer on top. The hybrid feel is closer to a traditional mattress, with more edge support and a different kind of bounce. Both lines include layer exchanges on most configurations. The right choice comes down to which construction feels right for you.

Do your mattresses ship across Canada?

Yes. We ship mattresses across Canada from our Metro Vancouver factory. Production takes one to two weeks, and transit time depends on your location. Customers in Metro Vancouver receive their mattress via same-day courier or white-glove delivery service (extra charges may apply for white-glove), with free pickup also available. Shipments to Ontario take at least five business days in transit after production. A little less for Western Canada and little more for Eastern Canada.

What does the 180-day layer exchange mean?

Most of our mattresses include a 180-day layer exchange on comfort layers that are 3 inches or under. If the firmness isn't right after you've slept on it, we can swap the comfort layer for a different firmness. There's a price difference if the new layer costs more, and we'll calculate that for you when you're ready. Layer exchanges apply to the 8-inch, 10-inch, and all hybrid models. They do not apply to the 6-inch mattress, which is a single-layer design. The product pages note which models include this.

Can I try a mattress before I buy?

Yes, if you're in Metro Vancouver. We have a showroom in Delta, BC where you can try the mattresses, ask questions, and get help choosing the right firmness and model for your sleeping position. Weekday and Saturday fittings are available. If you're ordering from out of town, you can also reach us by phone or email to talk through options before ordering.
