The most common questions we get asked are: Are you the same people who had a futon store on 4^th for the longest time? Yes, that was us. Majestic has been Vancouver's premier natural mattress maker for 40 years. While we started as a futon company, we have adapted to the times and are now more well-known for our innovative organic latex mattress designs. Originally based out of Surrey and Vancouver, we moved our head office to Annacis Island in Delta in 2016. Annacis Island is a centrally located industrial area at the north end of the Alex Fraser Bridge. This convenient location within 30 minutes of most of Metro Vancouver gave us the flexibility to close our remaining retail outlets at the outset of COVID so we could focus on continuing to deliver the best natural and organic latex value in Canada.

We are a destination-based, operating mattress workshop with a small 500 sq/ft showroom that's open to the public by appointment only. We do our best to accommodate walk-ins, but please note that we may not always have sales staff available, and those with appointments receive priority.

Did you used to have a store on 4th in Kitsilano?

Yes, we were at 4th and Burrard for nearly 30 years.

Why do you require appointments?

We are a destination based mattress factory and have a small showroom that can only accommodate one group at time. Our appointment based system ensures you get the best possible mattress buying experience free of distractions.

Do you accept drop-ins?

We try to accommodate all visitors to our factory. However, we have a small showroom that can only accommodate one group at time and appointments have priority. We also don't always have a sales person on hand. Our online calendars are updated in real-time. If you don't see any opening on the calendar we are booked or unavailable.

Can I try other firmesses or models not listed above?

Yes, with limitations. All our mattress are made in a modular fashion so we can make some adjustments to show certain models or firmness. We can't make everything though so please contact us if you want to try something not listed above.

Why do you only have futon samples?

Our factory showroom has limited space and we have prioritized our latex mattresses. The large futon samples (25"x39") can be arranged in such a fashion that allows you to sample the feel of the model of choice.

How long will my order take to ship?

We strive to ship all order within 10 business days. Smaller items such as pillows or toppers often ship quicker. Please contact us for more information on rush orders.
