Our entry-level futon mattress combines four layers of cotton batting with three layers of firm BioFoam for a thinner profile futon mattress suitable for occasional use or every night sleeping by lighter people.

Our mid-range standard futon is the most popular futon mattress we’ve ever sold. Made from 5 layers of cotton batting and four layers of Firm BioFoam, this timeless classic is suitable for daily use as a sofa or bed for people of any stature.

Does the futon mattresses have an odour?

We use raw cotton batting, and some people will initially notice an earthly smell that goes away withing a few weeks.

What is your return policy?

Due to the nature of our products, all returns will be subject to a 20% re-stocking and recycling fee. Any shipping or delivery related charges are non-refundable.

What is your shipping policy?

Most items are handmade to order at our factory in Delta, BC, Canada. We strive to ship all orders within 10 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding holidays). Some items may take a little longer, while smaller items often ship in a few business days.

April 4, 2025 - The current lead time for futon mattresses is up to 15 business days.

All mattresses thicker than 6" are shipped partially assembled and require basic assembly. The bottom six inches are already assembled in the cover, and any additional layers must be zipped into the mattress at home. Please exercise caution when opening to avoid damage.

All standard shipping is via the curbside service. What is curbside shipping? The shipping company will deliver the item to your home, but they won't go inside your home or enter common areas found in multi-family dwellings. (eg. Apartment lobby or to a floor in a Condo building). If you live in a very rural area or on a remote island, it may only be possible to deliver to a depot in the nearest town.

Purchased and arrived at my door as expected. I've slept on futons and floor beds before so I knew what to expect. Optimal comfort! Not total comfort not the most plush bed you've ever slept in. The perfect balance of support and ability to get comfortable. A few nice pillows and body pillow and you can dial in your sleeps. Happy 😊
